Facebook Disclaimer

Since 2009 I had nothing but hate for Facebook and today it yet again proved it is the collection of lowest life forms in the Milky Way. I don’t give a damn what scientists found, The Facebookians are worse than snot!

Running a business that involves the public is difficult as it is in the digital age as you compete with millions and millions of other websites on the internet. One tool to attract web visitors is Facebook.

And in order to do that you create page upon page for each website you manage or own. But, you need a profile for it. Now when that profile gets suspended for some obscure Community Standard violation, your entire business suffers. Every page, every group and every post ever shared on Facebook is “gone”!

T0 overcome this, they force you to create fake profiles. The more the better. You create names, use birthdates of other family members, open Gmail and Yahoo accounts and start over. All while facebook thinks they have millions and millions of users.

And all of this, because someone sent me a message and I tried to verify my identity using my own face. However, my profile picture is the logo of the Cape Chronicle, And voila! 180 Days in Faecbook Paradise.

Not only do I lose 475 followers on one of my other pages, I also lose every single ad, post and comment. I don’t lose it, but it no longer attracts more readers to our website. (But facebook is too stupid and too phpeed to realise this).

Henceforth, NOBODY but NOBODY will ever get supported by Cape Chronicle Publishers, if they contact us using Messenger. This is not negotiable!

We are so done with Facebook and Messenger!

The Cape Chronicle, its agents, employees, owners and any member of their families shall not be held liable for any claims hatespeech, fraud, identity theft, scams, Legacy Builders and other pyramid schemes that are advertised on any of the groups or pages we had under our control up until 24 July 2026 at 16:00.
